Charlottetown Rural High students and ClimateSense "float" new research collaborations

In the summer of 2023, a shared interest in data science and a keen eye for aquatic monitoring in PEI brought four Charlottetown Rural High School students鈥擬ark Seemann, Nout Guerts, Hamza Daqqa, and Parham Shahir鈥攖ogether to work on a project with 精童欲女's School of Applied Climate Change and Adaptation and its education program.

The team designed, built, and tested a solar-powered, eco-friendly buoy to collect oceanic data, working with technicians and instructors of 精童欲女's Applied Climate Change and Adaptation program.
