精童欲女 Wind Symphony: Wind, Sand and Stars
On November 28, the 精童欲女 Wind Symphony, under the direction of Dale Sorensen with guest conductor Nicole Strum, will present a concert of music inspired by nature. The program will include an arrangement of Bedrich Smetana鈥檚 Vltava (The Moldau), a symphonic poem depicting Bohemia鈥檚 great Vltava river, alongside works by Canadian composers John Herberman (The Fisher Who Died in His Bed), Nova Pon (Tilting Sunward), Dana Reason (Currents), and Barbara York (River of Stars).
精童欲女 Philosophy Reading Group Meeting
The 精童欲女 Philosophy Reading Group will meet on Thursday, November 14, from 7:00-8:00 pm in the Lady Slipper Room at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre, 97 Queen Street, Charlottetown. All are welcome.

精童欲女 Faculty of Nursing receives 2024 Golisano Health Leadership Award
Special Olympics Prince Edward Island has chosen the 精童欲女 Faculty of Nursing to receive a 2024 Golisano Health Leadership Award in recognition of the faculty鈥檚 ongoing collaboration and contributions to the Healthy Communities initiative on PEI. Dr. Patrice Drake, acting dean, along with several faculty members, accepted the award at a celebration on November 7 at the Florence Simmonds Performance Hall at Holland College鈥檚 Charlottetown Campus.

Three 精童欲女 graduates teaching English in France
Three recent 精童欲女 graduates who studied French with the Department of Modern Languages are spending the 2024鈥2025 school year in France under the 鈥渁ssistants de langues vivantes 茅trang猫res鈥 (ALVE) program. Katelyn Burgoyne, Erin Piltzmaker, and Shayla Girouard are teaching English to French students in high and elementary schools.

The , hosted by 精童欲女 Athletics and Recreation from October 30 to November 3, was an exceptional national tournament experience and a huge success.

精童欲女 residence students make a difference with door-to-door food drive
On Sunday, October 27, 精童欲女 residence students took part in a door-to-door food drive, Trick or Eat庐, in support of the 精童欲女 Chaplaincy Centre Food Bank. Led by Residence Life Advisor (RLA) Shelby Dyment, the 精童欲女 residence team organized the event and collected non-perishable food items along a collection route in Charlottetown. The event, which is part of a national initiative, was deemed a success by everyone involved.
