Launch of Tanya Talaga鈥檚 new book "The Knowing" at 精童欲女 on November 7

The Bookmark and 精童欲女鈥檚 Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) will host a book launch for Anishinaabe author Tanya Talaga鈥檚 new book, The Knowing, on Thursday, November 7, at 7 pm, in the 精童欲女 Performing Arts Centre amphitheatre (Room 121S). The evening will be moderated by Jenene Wooldridge, executive director of L鈥檔uey.

Grace Richard and Jack Roberts named 精童欲女 Panther Athletes of the Week

Every week, 精童欲女 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 精童欲女 Panther Athletes of the Week for October 21鈥27, 2024, are Grace Richard (women鈥檚 cross country) and Jack Roberts (men鈥檚 cross country).

Richard, a fourth-year science student from Charlottetown, was 精童欲女鈥檚 top runner at the AUS Championships this past weekend in Newfoundland and Labrador. She finished 15th overall with a time of 31:37.
