Festive greetings and good wishes filled the air as guests were welcomed to the New Year’s Day Levee held by the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® and the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Alumni Association on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering building. 

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Board of Governors approved several changes to the international student tuition deposits, as recommended by the Finance and Audit Committee, for students who apply to ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® after December 3, 2024.

Dr. Xander Wang, a professor in ¾«Í¯ÓûŮ’s Applied Climate Change and Adaptation program and director of the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Climate Smart Lab, has been awarded the prestigious American Geophysical Union’s (AGU) for his outstanding contributions to the advancement of geospatial data visualization technology to increase public awareness of climate change.

Students in Dr. Stacey MacKinnon’s fourth-year Psychology of Good and Evil class wrapped up their fall semester by hosting a ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Pathways to Peace Day in late November in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® held its 23rd Recognition of Founders ceremony on December 18, 2024. Recognized as 2024 Founders were Vickie Johnston, Dr. Michael Liu, and the Saint Dunstan’s University Board of Governors.

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® is excited to welcome Jed Davies as the new head coach of the women’s and men’s soccer teams. Davies is a well-rounded coach with experience and success in youth development, and in university, professional, and international soccer.

Veterinarians at the Atlantic Veterinary College confirm Santa's reindeer are in top physical condition and ready to guide sleigh on Christmas Eve.

Each year at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®, students look forward to events held across campus during the exam period, which are designed to ease stress, promote relaxation, and help with meals and nourishment. This year was no exception as various departments organized and hosted events. 

The Sport PEI Board of Directors has made its selections for the 51st annual Sport PEI Amateur Sport Awards, and among those, two members of the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® community have been nominated, ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® field hockey player Livi Lawlor and coach Lacey MacLauchlan.
