The Mawi’omi Indigenous Student Centre at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® is hosting a series of events leading up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation which is September 30, 2023.

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® is mourning the passing of Leo Cheverie, a passionate and dedicated member of the University community. Leo passed away on Thursday, September 7, surrounded by his family and music.

¾«Í¯ÓûŮ’s Cross Country program has taken massive strides in recent years, including earning all-star selections in back-to-back seasons and welcoming runners from across the conference for their first turn as hosts of the AUS Championships. It’s a lot to be proud of, but the team is looking to accomplish even more in 2023.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® (¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®) welcomed the 69 members of the Class of 2027, and the largest cohort in the school’s history.

As the start of the new rugby season nears, the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Women’s Rugby Panthers are focused and determined to defend the AUS championship title they captured last season.

Ever since they carried that banner back to ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®, the Panthers have embraced their championship identity, and now they’re hungry for more and are on a mission to preserve their reign on top.

In this message to students, faculty, and staff, interim president Dr. Greg Keefe welcomes everyone to campus for the new academic year.

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Soccer, Rugby, and Cross Country teams are looking forward to a full weekend of events at home and away this Friday and Saturday.

Eight researchers at the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® have been awarded over $1.6 million in funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s (NSERC) 2023 discovery grant and research tools and instruments grant competitions.

Award-winning poet, nature and environmental author, conservation activist, and the 2023 ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® writer-in-residence Harry Thurston will read from his new poetry collection, Ultramarine, on Wednesday, September 27, at 7:30 pm at the Gallery Coffee Shop and Bistro, 82 Great George Street, Charlottetown. This free event is sponsored by the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Faculty of Science and Faculty of Arts and The Bookmark.
