The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Panthers are looking forward to a big week of playoff and championship excitement, including the AUS Basketball Championships that take place at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, NS from February 20–22. 

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 9–15 are Ingrid Khuong (women’s basketball) and Donovan Arsenault (men’s hockey).

¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® has lowered the flags near Kelley Memorial Building to half-mast in honour of the victims of the Tumbler Ridge tragedy. 

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. At their home games, senior players will be recognized for their contributions to their respective sports. 

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 2–8 are Chiara Esposito (women’s hockey) and Owen Smith (men’s basketball).

¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® has received Notice to Bargain from ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® FA #2, CUPE 1870, and IBEW 1928. We will continue to update the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® community throughout the collective bargaining process.

Dr. Marie Pascal, assistant professor in the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Department of Modern Languages, has published a new book titled L’abject sublime dans la transcréation au Canada.

The Hewitt Foundation gifts $1 million to support ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®'s Faculty of Medicine, helping to advance key priorities, including enhancing learner experiences, innovative teaching, and simulation-based education, while strengthening medical training opportunities on PEI.
