The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 17–23, 2025, are Helena Ikpotokin (women’s track and field) and Kamari Scott (men’s basketball).

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) held a Sharing Our Stories and Apukna'jit Spirit Ceremony on February 5 at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®.

Dr. Callum Beck's new book, The Belfast Riot of 1847, will be launched on March 5 in SDU Main Building, ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®, and on March 30 at the Eptek Art and Culture Centre in Summerside.

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Department of Religious Studies will present Theology on Tap on March 4, 2025, at 7:00 pm, at the Salvador Dali Cafe, The Arts Hotel, 155 Kent Street, Charlottetown.

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® was saddened to learn of the recent passing of honorary degree recipient and long-time supporter and donor Dr. Lou MacEachern, and offers sincere condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

In this ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® community message, President Wendy Rodgers invites students, staff, and faculty to an information sharing session about the redevelopment of the Fair Treatment Policy.

The 2025 Summer Job and Career Fair, hosted by ¾«Í¯ÓûŮ’s Experiential Education department, will take place on March 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

Every week, ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 10–16, 2025, are Lauren Rainford (women’s basketball) and Kyree Thompson (men’s basketball).

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Hockey, Basketball and Track and Field Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. 

In a message to the campus community, President Wendy Rodgers announced on behalf of the selection committee that the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Board of Governors has appointed Dr. Jane Ngobia as the Vice-President, People and Culture.
