Every week, ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Panther Athletes of the Week for February 5–11, 2024, are Lauren Rainford (women’s basketball) and Kamari Scott (men’s basketball).

Dr. Dominique Griffon, the new dean of the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), hosted a well-attended reception in AVC's McCain Learning Commons on January 29.

Canadian Blood Services and the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Student Union are encouraging students to attend a stem cell swabbing event on February 7 from 11:00 am–1:00 pm and February 8 from 12:00–2:00 pm at the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® campus community and members of the public are invited to attend a presentation on a recent study, Innovative Governance Structures to Support Indigenous Economic Growth, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 5:30–6:30 pm in the Kelley Memorial Building, Room 237.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® (¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®) is providing complimentary short-term emotional support to assist clients in navigating difficult situations concerning their pets’ health. 

The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Department of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Human Rights shared a message with students, staff, and faculty to mark Black History Month, which is celebrated annually in February.
